HIGHLIGHTS: Xavier girls clinch Bay conference championship, Denmark falls short against Freedom, De Pere wins big

(WFRV) — In another eventful night of high school hoops around Northeast Wisconsin, our WFRV sports team made it to several games in our area: Xavier girls basketball took care of Menasha clinching the Bay conference regular season championship outright, the Denmark girls team fell a few points short of a 18-point comeback win vs. Freedom (a win would’ve clinched the NEC regular season championship), and De Pere handily beat Lourdes Academy at home.

SCORES:

• Xavier 60, Menasha 28
• Freedom 62, Denmark 58
• De Pere 88, Lourdes Academy 39
