ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) — For the first time in team history, the De Pere Voyageurs boys ice hockey team is headed to Madison. At the Cornerstone community center, De Pere beat Neenah/Hortonville/Menasha 4-2 to claim its first-ever sectional title.
The MVP in this one was De Pere goalkeeper Chase Van De Ven. The West De Pere sophomore finished with 33 saves, allowing just two goals.
