He had 7 TDs a couple of seasons back as a rookie. How do you go from that to unsigned in 2 years? I see he was injured most of last season...well that fits with our current "stable" of TE's.

He was used as a redzone specialist 2 years ago and then they drafted Eric ebron a year ago so he just doesn't fit into there scheme anymore.

At what point is it okay to start questioning Arians's workout approach? This is absurd.

You cannot strengthen tendons.

True, but you can allow for proper recovery time on stressed joints. Those non contact injuries are often the result of continuous heavy stress on a joint when the adjacent muscles are weakened. Basically, the muscles aren't doing there job at 100%, your form starts slipping and the ligaments take on extra duty. That is my understanding anyway, from info I got when I tore my ACL.

In this case, meniscus tear is cartilage damage, again from an overstressed joint.

The eagles are applying new procedures to alleviate this avoidable brand of injury, and I think other teams should start the transition too.
