The final game of the College World Series ended on Monday with the Oklahoma Sooners earning their third national title with a Game 3 win over the North Carolina Tar Heels at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska.
After claiming their first championship since 1994, the Sooners found themselves atop D1Baseball's final rankings for the 2026 campaign with the Tar Heels right behind them. The Florida Gators, who entered the NCAA Tournament as the No. 8 seed, check in at No. 16 after being beaten badly by the Troy Trojans in the two final games of the Gainesville Regional to end their postseason run.
Florida is one of 10 Southeastern Conference schools to finish in D1Baseball's final top 25, along with the top-ranked Sooners, the Georgia Bulldogs (No. 3), Texas Longhorns (No. 5), Alabama Crimson Tide (No. 6), Ole Miss Rebels (No. 7), Auburn Tigers (No. 9), Mississippi State Bulldogs (No. 14), Texas A&M Aggies (No. 17) and Arkansas Razorbacks (No. 23).
D1Baseball editors and national writers determine the Top 25 rankings. The previous ranking below was the final top 25 of the regular season, released right after Selection Monday.
