Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua credits a lot of his early success to Cooper Kupp, his old teammate who now plays for the Seattle Seahawks. Nacua mentioned multiple times how much Kupp helped him develop in 2023 and 2024.
So after their two teams faced off for the third time in one year, Nacua made sure to go see his friend and congratulate him on making the Super Bowl. They embraced after the game and shared with eacher how much they care for one another.
Watch and listen for yourself:
This is the type of relationship Nacua and Kupp have had since Nacua was a rookie in 2023. And while the reason for Kupp's departure will be scrutinized, the admiration for Kupp and Nacua hasn't been diminished.
Kupp's role in Seattle is much like it was during the final games of his tenure in L.A. Nacua, meanwhile, has transformed into a superstar receiver who has the second-most receiving yards through a player's first three seasons ever.
If was ever in doubt who Nacua is rooting for in Super Bowl LX, though, now we all know: He wants Kupp to win another ring.
The last time Kupp was in the Super Bowl, he was named Super Bowl MVP when the Rams took down the Cincinnati Bengals. Could he repeat? We'll see.
