Man seeing how great Bills fans have it in an old Flagstaff school in St. Johns...

It just makes me sad for how we had to monetize / save money with crappy Glendale

Steelers too. They are at a college campus staying in dorms the players interviewed have to room together and they love it.

Flag was the best
I never made it to Flag. The pictures and reports we got every year were awesome though.
I finally set things up so I could go. Time off work. New digital camera...my buddy insists we take his brand new dodge 4x4...with no resistance from me honestly....
We get about 3/4 of the way there.....

And his transmission goes out.
Damn truck had less than 8000 miles on it...and the transmission just quits. I could anticipate any number of potential problems on the trip but ****** problems would have never made the list.

Took about three hours for the tow truck to get there...was dinner time before we made it back to Mesa.

Before I could get everything just right again with work they stopped going to Flag... just wasn't meant to be.

But even though I never got to participate i think it was a really crappy move for the team to stop going up there.
Even if it was a financial issue with NAU..or any other issue.....
Buying 50 acres and building a basic facility is still cheaper than building in the city....in some areas up there the biggest expense would probably be paying the utility companies to run dedicated lines out there...would have been a solid investment in the long run because if the Cardinals got the utilities out there...the property values increase, then others start building out there...and it snowballs...until suddenly there is a new dot on the map..."Bidwillton" or "Redbird City"

now I can’t even remember - when they came back down to the valley for pre-season games, where did they practice during the week? I imagine the Tempe practice facility is too small for that many players.

I’m sure it was a logistical nightmare to have camp up north, but it was a cool tradition. Wish they would bring it back.

They practiced in Tempe.
Then they put up that huge tent dome over the field...think it had AC

They’d just go back up
