The Rooney Rule is so disrespectful towards minorities. It’s basically putting your arm around a minority & saying “look, you’re not smart enough or qualified enough to land an NFL HC job without our help”. The intent is a good one, but its success has been a huge failure. Social engineering NEVER works.

Seems to me that minorities are better represented in the head coaching ranks today than they were when it was implemented.
