CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Guardians open a three-game series against the Detroit Tigers on Friday, June 12 at Progressive Field.
The Guardians (37-33) were swept in a three-game series against the New York Yankees with losses on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The results dropped the Guardians to second place in the American League Central Division.
The Guardians are 3-5 over the last week-plus after winning two of three games at Yankee Stadium last week before losing two of three to the Texas Rangers over the weekend.
