Ahead of the February trade deadline, sources widely reported that the Bucks were actively engaged in discussions to move Antetokounmpo. The Heat emerged as the favorites to land him; however, nothing materialized, and the one-time NBA champion remained with Milwaukee. The 31-year-old was limited to just 36 days due to different injuries.
In May, Bucks co-owner Jimmy Haslam confirmed that the franchise is looking for the best offer. It remains to be seen where Antetokounmpo will play next, but one thing that’s certain is the news will dominate headlines for days or even weeks.
