The college basketball transfer portal has been busy, and Grand Canyon hasn't been left out of the action. Here's where the Lopes' men's basketball roster stands. The list will be updated as information becomes available:
Jaden Zimmerman
Grand Canyon men's basketball's first transfer portal get is Zimmerman, a 6-foot-5, 205-pound guard who starred at Quinnipiac the last two years.
Zimmerman announced his commitment on Instagram on April 14. He basically replaces guard Dusty Stromer, who went into the portal and recently committed to the University of San Diego.
Zimmerman averaged 15 points last season, starting 25 of the 26 games he played. He averaged 32 minutes a game, and made 37% of his field goals, and 31% of his 3-point attempts. He averaged 2.5 rebounds.
He made the All-MAAC Rookie team in the 2024-25 season when he averaged 11 points and two rebounds in 33 games, helping Quinnipiac to the regular-season league championship as a freshman.
Dusty Stromer
Stromer (6-6, 195) spent last season at GCU after two seasons at Gonzaga. Averaged 6.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists. Committed to San Diego.
