The Tennessee Titans took a swing with a depth defensive lineman in the sixth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, selecting Baylor's Jackie Marshall at No. 184 overall on April 25.

Marshall is a prospect with an increasingly rare track record -- a five-year college player all at the same school.

Marshall missed the 2023 season with a knee injury, then started the next two seasons at Baylor. He totaled 11.0 TFL and five sacks over those two years.

Tennessee's starting defensive line group is entrenched, but there's always a need for depth across both lines of scrimmage.

Here's how the Tennessean grades the Titans' sixth-round pick:

  • The grade: C-plus
  • Why? Marshall didn't fill up the box score at Baylor but did test well at the NFL combine with a solid 40 time and a good shuttle time. At 6-foot-2, 292 pounds, he can provide versatility. But he'll need to make more plays to make a mark in Nashville.
