Feeling super pessimistic after this one. May get hate for this post but I just can’t drink the koolaid even though we’re 2-0.

1. Max Melton has to be done for the season right? The reply was gross and getting carted off usually tells you everything you need to know.
2. Garrett Williams can’t even walk off the field in his own…My hunch says he’s done too, but he at least has on outside shot of returning. Obviously I don’t have any information but it didn’t look good either.
3. Our defensive line is still very suspect.
4. I was so excited when we drafted D Rob, but boy is he looking like a 1st rd bust.
4. So where’s this alleged elite OLine?
5. Coaching was horrible. So conversative.
6. This offense can’t seem to scheme a passing game. How can you not make MHJ a focal point and scheme him open??? What did he have, 26 yards???? Seriously?
7. K1 is looking like he’s being reduced to a game manager…Yes we are 2-0 but it’s concerning.
8. Did we just play our two easiest games on paper outside of TN? The schedule is going to start getting tougher and tougher.
9. If we suck at passing AND suck at running, when we’re supposed to be a run-first team…what the heck is this team going to do???

I remember one year we went 3-0 and Tango and others were riding me for saying we weren't any good. Sadly, I was saying it because we actually weren't very good.

This doesn't quite have the same vibe, because I don't think we're dog crap, but I don't think we're playoff good either. Sprinkle in the injuries and it could get ugly.

Welcome to where I have been since after last season.

This team is not close to complete after a long drawn out supposed rebuild.

It’s funny. As cardinals fans we watch and scrutinize every play. And as a fan we want to see 0% failure. We KNOW that not real but it doesn’t matter. We are emotionally tied to our team.

If Kyler didn’t throw the silly pick we would all be saying he played a pretty good game. Unfortunately, that pick ( and coaching) lead to a huge turn around. There’s always room to improve no matter the outcome. If Kyler went 35 of 37 passes for 450 yards and 4 tds, but had a pick 6 resulting in a 38-35 loss we would probably be dwelling on the pick 6.

Then we watch our defense. We only gave up 22 points AND scored a touchdown. Yet we bemoan the fact of where’s the pass rush? Fans of the Rams, 49ers and Seahawks see us as 2-0. We see it as underwhelming and perhaps deservedly so.

I know we all watch a lot of football but we are emotionally unattached for other teams. So the “ bad plays” don’t affect us and are quickly forgotten.

We KNOW there’s going to be failures during a game. We should be ecstatic when those failures don’t lead to a loss. But alas, we are Cardinals fans. We are condition to just know the next bad play will lead to our demise…even when we win! :)

Right now. And I must stress right now because I'm going to extend SOME trust to this coaching staff to get it together, we would have zero chance of competing against the likes of Philly, GB, Det. You always want to be considered a good team, especially if you're 2-0, but yesterday was Keystone Cops bad at certain junctures. Add in the injuries and I have no real good feeling about us on the whole.

Hopefully JG “ I have to coach them better” learned a lesson to not go into a prevent defense when there are still 25 minutes left in the game.

I recorded the game and haven't been able to watch it yet so i can only comment on the last 2-1/2 minutes I watched. I looked quite chaotic on defense. The penalties on both sides were ridiculous. It had a keystone cops feel to it.

I agree with this but the old Cards would be 0-2 after those games we just played. The failures used to actually do us in.

I am thankful for the 2-0 start I just don't like what I see for the future.
