It didn't take long for Sam Webb to land back on his feet.
Webb, who was released by the Denver Broncos last week after the team signed cornerback Ricardo Hallman, has signed with the New York Giants, the team announced on Thursday.
Webb (6-0, 194 pounds) has spent time with five NFL teams, totaling 45 tackles, four pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble returned for a touchdown in 36 career games (five starts). The 28-year-old defensive back will now get a fresh start in New York.
Elsewhere on the ex-Bronco front, running back Blake Watson visited the San Francisco 49ers, Juwann Winfree signed with the Houston Texans, offensive lineman Karsen Barnhart was released by the Green Bay Packers and defensive lineman P.J. Mustipher was waived from the Arizona Cardinals' injured reserve list with a settlement.
