The New York Giants updated the status of three players on Thursday.
According to The New York Daily News’ Pat Leonard, the Giants placed tight end Thomas Fidone, defensive lineman Sam Roberts and defensive tackle Roy Robertson-Harris on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list prior to veterans reporting for training camp on July 28.
Fidone is currently out after having offseason foot surgery. He was selected by the Giants with the No. 219 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. He played in seven games for New York as a rookie last season.
Roberts underwent surgery for an undisclosed injury this offseason. Despite that, he is expected to be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 season. He played in five games for the Atlanta Falcons in 2025 and recorded a sack on the year.
Robertson-Harris was in line to start for the Giants again in 2026 at defensive tackle. He tore his Achilles tendon during OTAs this offseason but was not placed on season-ending IR, with the team hopeful that he may be able to play at some point in 2026.
