San Francisco Giants second baseman Luis Arraez may be on the move at this year's trade deadline.

Arraez is on an expiring contract, and the Giants are expected to be sellers. It would make little sense for San Francisco to hold onto the three-time batting champion when they can get something of value in return.

On paper, Arraez is having a great year at the plate. But Bleacher Report's Kerry Miller points to something that may catch the attention of other clubs and become a problem for the Giants.

"However, he [Arraez] is defying his expected numbers like never before in his career, and a new team might be left holding the bag if he starts to regress in a big way," Miller wrote.

Arraez, a two-time Silver Slugger Award winner, does not hit for much power and seldom strikes out or draws walks.

"Arraez is batting .321, but his expected batting average is .285," Miller added. "Granted, that is still doggone good by today's .240-ish standards, but a not-insignificant divide all the same."

Should interested teams expect Arraez to hit .300 the rest of the season? Probably not, as it may not be sustainable.

However, it wouldn't be an impossible feat for the left-handed hitter to pull off. He has finished the year with a .314 average or better in five of the first seven years of his career.

This could become a talking point for the Giants, but it probably won't be a dealbreaker.
