G iannis Antetokounmpo's latest comments will certainly have New York Knicks fans buzzing. In a streaming appearance, the two-time MVP provided his take on who he believes will win the NBA Finals.
Without hesitation, Antetokounmpo picked the Knicks to win the whole thing, regardless of who comes out of the Western Conference between the San Antonio Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
"I feel like the Knicks will win the whole thing," Antetokounmpo said. "In basketball, there is momentum, and the city just rallies behind them, and New York is fire."
With Antetokounmpo having been linked to the Knicks as a potential trade destination, fans couldn't help but point that out in the comment section.

Knicks’ Finals run could impact Giannis pursuit
The 31-year-old could be dealt this summer, as the Milwaukee Bucks are actively listening to trade calls and offers for Antetokounmpo.
Antetokounmpo has consistently listed the Knicks as a preferred destination outside of Milwaukee. The two teams have had exclusive talks in the past, but no deal has been struck.
There is a chance that a deal gets done this summer, but the Knicks may not want to make a deal for him, especially if they get the job done this year. It wouldn't make sense for them to make a deal for Antetokounmpo if they were to win their first title since 1973.
On top of that, the Knicks' ability to acquire him this summer depends on a number of factors.
Nonetheless, the chatter surrounding Antetokounmpo to New York will only end if he is dealt to another team.
The NBA Finals will tip off on June 3, with the Knicks traveling to either Oklahoma City or San Antonio for the first two games of the series.
