Georgia softball (41-18, 12-12 SEC) cleaned up the NCAA Athens Regional Sunday afternoon, going 3-0 against Clemson, UNC Greensboro and College of Charleston to punch its ticket to the Super Regionals.

The Bulldogs, which are seeded No. 10 overall, will travel to Knoxville, Tenn., to take on an undecided opponent on Thursday, May 21, through Sunday, May 24.

Tennessee is currently in the Knoxville Regional finale against Virginia, leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth inning.

Pitch times are to be determined at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium, as are broadcasts.

Tennessee leads the all-time series over Georgia, 48-41, with the most recent outcomes being a 2-1 weekend series victory in Athens from March 7-9 in 2025. Georgia only won Game 2, 4-3, in extras, while Tennessee won Game 1, 6-1, and Game 3, 5-2.

Since head coach Tony Baldwin took over the program in 2022, the Bulldogs have only won four of their nine scheduled games against the Lady Volunteers. Only one of those wins was in Knoxville on April 6, 2024.

Sherri Parker Lee Stadium can fit roughly 2,200 spectators.

Georgia has appeared in every NCAA Tournament since 2002. That's now 24 straight appearances, excluding 2020 which was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It has advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals in now 15 of those years, including the last four consecutive from 2023-26. It has advanced to the Women's College World Series in five of those years, most recently in 2021 during Lu Harris-Champer's last season at the helm.

Baldwin has led Georgia to now four straight Super Regionals, but so far no further.

In 2025, Georgia advanced out of the Durham Regional 3-1, defeating host Duke, but then lost to Florida, 2-1, in the Gainesville Super Regional.

In 2024, Georgia advanced out of the Athens Regional 3-1, but then lost to UCLA, 2-0, in the Los Angeles Super Regional.

In 2023, Georgia advanced out of the Athens Regional, 3-0, but then lost to Florida State, 2-0, in the Tallahassee Super Regional.
