Actually, brilliant play to try to pick up that punt. Because Stillers had already touched it, if he runs and gains yards (scores?!), it counts. If he muffs it back to them - it's dead ball where they first touched it. Doubt he knew all of that, but either way, it's a no-risk move to try to scoop it up. Silly rule though.
