Torey Lovullo has gone back to a more traditional lineup for this game.

Gallen has walked the first three batters in the bottom of the 1st.

And a double play gets a run in.

Either my eyes are going . . . or there is a haze in San Francisco.

I guess Gallen can't see the plate. His glasses must be fogging up.

He is all fogged up. :)

Runner left on 3B. 26 pitches in the bottom of the 1st.

There were a total of 29 responses to the previous 3 ASFN D-backs game threads.
It looks like Torey Lovullo is not winning our 'electoral college' vote.

I'm switching to my three PBS murder mysteries (COVID-19 shut-in entertainment).

See ya!

It amazes me how they can be so hot for several games and go so cold at the same time a few games later. I understand maybe one or 2 going cold but the whole team each time? Strange.

Gallen has settled in nicely. Now we just need to get some runs for him.

My feeling is that the Manager's approach is the cause. There is no continuity.

With his constantly changing lineups, every game is hit-or-miss -- a new beginning.

Versus assigned roles to his players and letting them grow as a team. Just look at the
lineups from the past three games.

Torey Lovullo seems to lack long-term vision, but that is one of his major responsibilities.

His approach affects the whole roster. And the fans.

We finally get a timely hit to tie the game. Now the giants have bases loaded and no outs. Not looking good.

I wished they hadn’t teased us last week.
Playing a series in Coors Field does that to fans. And, I guess, ballplayers.

We are an anemic hitting team. Which shouldn't be the case. We have a bunch of good line drive hitters.

I don't like repeating it, but it goes back to what Lovullo told Steve, when he explained why he was
still playing Lamb. He likes players who hit it into the air.

A Manager who forces players to play to his philosophy, rather than catering his Managerial decisions
to the skillset of his ballplayers, is doomed to fail.

I don't know why the Managing General Partner and General Manager don't know that. If they are not
part of the solution, they are part of the problem.

We don't know what goes on behind the scenes, but we know what we see. And we can be more objective.

But it is what it is. The results speak. :(
