The Philadelphia 76ers will look to avoid being swept when they play host to the New York Knicks in Game 4 of Round 2 on Sunday afternoon. The Sixers did just complete a rally from being down 3-1 against the Boston Celtics in Round 1, and now the challenge is 3-0 against a red hot Knicks team.
As far as the injury report is concerned, Joel Embiid is listed as probable due to right hip soreness. The big fella scored 18 points in 35 minutes in the Game 3 loss, but he was, obviously, not himself as the Knicks were able to earn another win and take a commanding 3-0 lead in the series. One has to wonder how he will perform in this contest on Sunday.
With the season on the line, one has to believe that Embiid will be able to play and give Philadelphia everything he has. It may not be a lot as the 2023 MVP winner is still working his way back into form, but the big fella is fighting every day to be there for the Sixers.
Tip off is set for 3:30 p.m. EDT on Sunday.
