Florida State wants its first cornerback pledge in the 2027 cycle. One of their prime targets is blue-chip prospect Ai'King Hall out of Dothan High School in Dothan, Alabama.
They made an offer to the 5-foot-11, 180-pounder on February 4. On Thursday, FSU was able to host Hall for his first visit on campus, and they exceeded his expectations.
"It was very nice," Hall told Noles247. "It was more than I exepcted. I really liked it."
Hall is a very sought-after recruit with around 30 offers on the table. They aren't your average football programs by any means, as his suitors include heavy hitters like Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Miami, Michigan, Texas, Oregon, and more.
Despite having such a top-tier collection of interested schools, Florida State is at the top for Hall.
"They are definitely up here in my top five," said Hall.
The Seminoles' new cornerbacks coach, Blue Adams, is trying to establish himself on the staff. During his visit, Hall spent a significant amount of time with him as they went over various things.
"Coach Blue, he was teaching me different ways to press, teaching me different coverages," Hall said.
He went on to talk about how persistent Adams has been in recruiting him since he was brought onto the staff.
"It has been pretty good. He be calling me, calling my mom, my dad, check on the fam a lot, check on me a lot," Hall said of Adams. "Hear from him just about every 2-3 days."
Hall is the No. 69 player nationally and the No. 9 cornerback per the 247Sports composite rankings. He's also the No. 1 prospect in the state of Alabama.
