Florida State is one of the top six choices in the recruitment of 2027 blue-chip quarterback Andre Adams. His decision date is next Sunday, April 11.
FSU had the luxury of hosting Adams for a visit this Monday as they held spring practice. The trip went extremely well, as Adams praised his time in Tallahassee on social media.
"A great visit at @FSUFootball On Monday!! I appreciate the love showed," Adams said.
Florida State is battling Oregon, Colorado, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, and Mississippi State for Adams. In terms of his offers from these schools, Colorado was the first back in May of 2024. Virginia Tech and Mississippi State offered in April of 2025. Kentucky extended its offer in January, while Oregon and FSU didn't offer until February.
This is why getting a visit from Adams this late was beneficial for Florida State. It doesn't mean that it will automatically get him to commit, but it surely does increase their chances by getting one of the final visits before making his decision.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder had a monster junior season for Antioch High School. He threw for 3,418 and 35 touchdowns to only one interception at a 71% completion rate. Adams also ran for 855 yards and 13 scores.
Adams is the No. 173 player nationally and the No. 15 quarterback in the 247Sports composite rankings. He's the No. 8 prospect in the state of Tennessee, also.
