I think you have him confused with Boomer Esiason. Krieg had a few good seasons with the Seahawk, but was trash for the Cardinals in 95, which was the abysmal last season of Buddy’s tenure in AZ. Krieg had hands the size of a 10 year old & routinely led the NFL in fumbles. It was Esiason in 96 that threw for 522 yards at RFK in a wild 37-34 OT win. I was in the stands for that one!
It was an OT win against them and he had 413 passing yards!

I get the tanking part. But if there is one position you’d like to see us solidify its center. Not only for the team but for Kyler…or any other Qb down the road.
An experience center like Ben Jones would at least solidify the middle of the line for more than just a year. We might not win many more games but it sure go a long way of keeping Kyler upright and healthy.
