Saric signing seems reasonable. Got it done fairly early too.

that’s about it for the off-season I think.

He seemed to be well liked in the locker room as well. I think that number keeps us about 5-6 million below the tax threshold so we can easily use the BLE if we want.

I like the flexibly. It allows the Suns to find a bargain or fill a need due to injury.

I like the 9 million per year number.

This is too much, unless some other team was really willing to throw their mle at him - which I doubt.

I like what we've done post-trade but a reasonable 3 year deal for Saric is my favorite move.

I think once Ibaka fell, then it was sign Saric asap.

I didn't want to say it until now, but the longer Saric remained unsigned I worried about losing him to Europe.

This was the rumor when the Suns traded for Saric, that he might return to Europe after his contract expired.

I was less concerned losing Saric to another team because he was a restricted free agent.

I'm in no hurry to trade either Saric or Crowder, but their contracts provide significant trading versatility later in the season if an opportunity arises.

Probably about done. We could do a minor trade I suppose. If a team wants to dump some salary, Okobo and Nader could be dealt for a better piece. The Suns might have insisted upon Nader in the Paul trade because he has a team option that is due this week. It is tradeable, especially to a team that is just over the lux tax or is trying to make hard cap space like the Lakers.

I admit that thought starting coming to my mind yesterday...

I admit I like seeing Saric getting some attention and he is only 26.

Yes, I was thinking that is a potential positive.

But with our lack of picks to trade, this roster is probably going to almost be locked for the next 2 seasons - so I sure hope it meshes well.

It will be nice to have some stability.

Signing Saric was a major priority.

So interesting . . . when saric was drafted the conventional thinking was that he’d be a big small forward. Now he’s a 4-5. This was an important signing. I love what he brings off the bench.

He is the anchor for the Suns second unit.

Suns can use a myriad of players around him with his passing and shooting skills.
