I suspect the Seahawks tried to play us similar to the Panthers and that's why we were once again throwing short most of the day.Seahawks game was far worse.

Lions, Ravens, Panthers, Seahawks..Carolina has the personnel to run that style of D, as do the Seahawks. Both are coached by very good defensive minded HC's. In order to beat those defenses, you're forced to be patient (long, sustained drives), hit an occasional long pass (OL has to protect long enough), run the ball with some consistency, and do well in the red zone. I watched some of the Texans game, and Houston's offense struggled even more than ours did against Carolina. Carolina had 3 fumbles (and lost all 3) or Houston may not have even scored. One thing you CAN'T do is fall behind by too much & become one dimensional.
Like the Carolina game, we had 2 nice drives early against Seattle & settled for 2 fg attempts. Throw in the pick 6, and we're behind the 8 ball and playing into Seattle's hands. Teams aren't stupid, and if they have similar personnel, they will throw that style of D at us until we beat it. It'll take patience, better OL play, limited turnovers, and success in the red zone. It's not like KK didn't dial up the right offense against these D's. We have moved the ball. Somehow, someway, we have to score touchdowns in the red zone. Turnovers will happen, but K1 CANNOT have pick 6's. We don't have the overall talent to overcome that type of mistake. That's what KK & K1 need to focus on right now. The D is the D for now. If we don't trade PP, he'll help a ton when he gets back.
Lions, Ravens, Panthers, Seahawks..
Thats about as physical as a start you'll have to open the season. Lets hope we can adjust now.
