The Georgia Bulldogs missed out on a four-star running back. Elite class of 2026 running back Javian Osborne has committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish over the Michigan Wolverines.

Osborne is a 2026 four-star running back who plays high school football and track at Forney High School in Forney, Texas. The 5-foot-10, 200-pound running back has accumulated 4,522 rushing yards and 69 rushing touchdowns on 622 rushing attempts through the last three years.

He was a part of the Under-Armour All-American Game with Georgia Bulldogs Elijah Griffin,Juan Gaston, and Zech Fort. Osborne is listed as the No. 6 running back and No. 90 prospect in the nation.

Georgia lost momentum on Osborne earlier in the recruiting cycle,. Osborne listed his top four schools a month ago, leaving Georgia off that list.

Regardless, Georgia is hardly resting on their laurels. They're still in contention for five-star running back Savion Hiter, who is the No. 1 running back and No. 17 overall prospect in the class of 2026.

In 2025, Georgia will be rolling with a deep backfield. Nate Frazier figures to start, with redshirt sophomore Roderick Robinson II, redshirt freshman Chauncey Bowens, freshman Bo Walker, and Illinois transfer Josh McCray splitting the rest of the carries.
