The Georgia Bulldogs are among the top four schools for four-star linebacker recruit Quinton Cypher, who is a member of the class of 2027. Cypher has the Miami Hurricanes, Alabama Crimson Tide, Ohio State Buckeyes and Georgia as his top four schools and plans to announce his commitment this week.
Cypher plays high school football for Millbrook High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker is ranked as the No. 150 recruit in the junior class. The Millbrook star is the No. 9 linebacker in the country and the sixth-best recruit in North Carolina.
Unfortunately for Cypher, Millbrook lost to Hough 21-0 in the 8A state championship in North Carolina. It was Millbrook's first state championship appearance in school history, which is an impressive accomplishment.
Cypher has had an extremely productive high school career. He posted at least 150 tackles, three sacks and forced three turnovers during the 2023 and 2024 high school football seasons, per 247Sports.
The elite linebacker has visited Georgia football five times. The Bulldogs along with Ohio State are the top contenders to land the four-star linebacker.
