Coach Will Stein has built an exciting roster for the 2026 Kentucky Wildcats season, his first in Lexington. He managed to retain some key players on both sides of the ball, and then added some talented upgrades through the transfer portal as well. In Phil Steele's college football preview, four Wildcats were mentioned as All-SEC players.

The revamped offensive line was represented twice. Center Coleton Price was named to the second team. He was terrific at Baylor last year, surrendering just one sack. He was a major recruiting win for Stein and Kentucky.

Joining Price as Steele's All-SEC second team is tight end Willie Rodriguez. He recorded 23 receptions for 310 yards and a touchdown last year, but he could be in for a big year in 2026. Stein has raved about his athletic ability and his upside.

Another bit offensive line signing this offseason was former Tennessee tackle Lance Heard, and Steele lists him on the third team. He's the likely starter at left tackle for Kentucky, and he has been very good so far. He has plenty of SEC experience, and , like Price, he hasn't given up many sacks.

Also listed on Steele's All-SEC third team is safety Ty Bryant. His return is huge for Kentucky. He was credited with 76 tackles and 4 interceptions last season, both which led the team. He has also been a quality return man.
