Four Coastal Bend baseball players named to THSCA Super Elite teams

Four Coastal Bend baseball players were named to the Texas High School Coaches Association Super Elite Teams following standout seasons in 2026.

Calallen pitcher Coll Carroll, outfielder/pitcher Drayton Mitchell, London shortstop Aiden Salinas and Sinton shortstop Connor Davis earned recognition on the statewide teams.

Carroll was named the Class 4A Pitcher of the Year and made the team alongside Mitchell, who pitched and played outfield. The duo helped lead the Wildcats back to the UIL Class 4A Division I state championship game for the third consecutive season.

Salinas was the lone selection in Class 3A after playing a key role in London's return to the UIL Class 3A Division I state championship game.

Davis helped guide Sinton to another strong playoff run in Class 4A after the Pirates advanced to the regional semifinals.

The THSCA Super Elite Teams recognize top performers from across Texas and are selected by coaches association members.
