The high school basketball season is over, but players from the Corpus Christi-area are still reaping the rewards from their play during the 2025-2026 season.
Thirty-eight Coastal Bend-area basketball players were named to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches all-region team, highlighting standout performances across multiple classifications this season.
Selections from Class 5A boys featured Veterans Memorial’s Jaron Couture and Jeremiah Moore, Miller’s Charles Perry Jr., Ray’s Huzefa Ullah and Flour Bluff’s Carter Knoll and Braylon Peters.

In Class 4A, Calallen’s Sam Cecava, Rockport-Fulton’s Brian Kizer Jr. and Beeville’s Brayden Martorell were named to the team.
Class 3A selections were Aransas Pass teammates Connor Cortesio, Augustus Hayes and Frankie Santiago, along with London’s Maddox Jennings, Christian Olivares, Aiden Salinas and Orange Grove’s Wyatt Miller.
In Class 2A, Agua Dulce’s Ethan Cadena and Lane Ranly were honored alongside Port Aransas teammates Micah Lafayette and Phisher Shackleford.

On the girls side, Class 5A selections were Flour Bluff’s Kate Croft, Gregory-Portland’s Bella Davis and Veterans Memorial’s Savannah Rencher.
Class 4A honorees were Beeville’s Abigail Delbosque, Tuloso-Midway’s Isabella Garcia, Sinton’s Addison Luis and Gwenith Wittner and Ingleside’s Keilana Smith.
In Class 3A, Taft’s Krista Amaya, Bishop teammates Ava Salinas and Leah Gutierrez, Aransas Pass’ Aubree Leal, London’s Zoe Perry and Alana Williams and West Oso’s Alvia Shaw were selected.
Class 2A selections included Port Aransas teammates McKennah Bacon and Brooke Jones and Skidmore-Tynan’s Kaggan Moreman.
The all-region team recognizes top players across Texas based on their performance and impact throughout the season.
