Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett, also known as the only NFL player to be thrown by the football, is facing a huge opportunity on a massive stage this week.
Pickett, or Kenny "Two Gloves," as some fans refer to him, will reportedly start at quarterback for the Carolina Panthers in Thursday's Hall of Fame Game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Pickett, who was drafted by the Steelers in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, didn't exactly live up to expectations during his first two years with Pittsburgh. He ultimately requested a trade after the Steelers signed Russell Wilson.
After very short stints with the Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns, and Las Vegas Raiders, Pickett found his latest opportunity with the Panthers, where he'll serve as Bryce Young's backup in 2026. Let's just hope it goes better than the last few years have.
