At this point, it seems former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett is on a fast track to disaster, which was clearly evident at the start of Carolina Panthers training camp.
Kenny “Two Gloves,” aka the only quarterback to ever be thrown by the football, put together a dreadful performance on Day 2 of training camp practice. During an 11-on-11 drill, Carolina Blitz reported that Pickett was sacked, tripped, and fumbled the ball before being sacked once more to close out the series.
Pickett, who was selected by the Steelers in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, failed to impress through his first two seasons and subsequently requested a trade after Russell Wilson signed with Pittsburgh in 2024.
After brief stints with the Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns, and Las Vegas Raiders from 2024 to 2025, Pickett signed with the Panthers in March 2026 in hopes of rejuvenating his short career.
Pickett didn't exactly leave Pittsburgh on the best of terms, but he's certainly proved over the past few seasons that the Steelers' coaching staff really wasn't to blame for his struggles.
