One of the most polarizing recruiting prospects of the Mel Tucker era has became the best defensive lineman in the country, according to EA Sports.
Former Michigan State football target and current Oklahoma Sooners defensive lineman David Stone has been rated as the top player in his position in the new EA Sports college football video game. Stone has a player rating of 94, which is the highest of any defensive lineman in the country.
As Michigan State fans may remember, Stone was a major target for the Spartans under former head coach Tucker. Michigan State was in the midst of his recruitment throughout the process with some believing he'd end up as a Spartan. But ultimately, the five-star prospect picked the Sooners over the Spartans.
Since heading to Oklahoma, Stone has appeared in 26 games across two seasons. He has recorded 48 tackles (10 for loss), 2.5 sacks and one pass defended.
