The Carolina Panthers have another MVP quarterback in their history . . . sorta.

Jack Plummer of the Orlando Storm has been named the Most Valuable Player of the United Football League. The 26-year-old began his pro career as a member of the Panthers in 2024.

In his very first campaign in the UFL, Plummer completed 65 percent of his passes for a league-high 2,188 yards, 17 touchdowns and just one interception. He also led the Storm to a UFL-best 8-2 record.

Carolina signed Plummer as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Louisville two years ago. He was waived by the Panthers following the preseason last summer—where he connected on 23 of his 38 attempts (60.5 percent) for 210 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions over three contests.

Plummer and the Storm were eliminated from playoff contention last Sunday, in a 28-22 loss to the DC Defenders.
