The Oregon Ducks saw a lot of defensive linemen enter the transfer portal earlier this week once it was announced that all four starters from the 2025 team would return for another season. One of the most significant transfers to leave Eugene was Terrance Green, a rotational player from this past season. On Saturday, Green announced that he would be transferring to the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Green played in all 15 games for the Ducks this year, racking up 15 tackles and one tackle for loss. While his stats may not jump off the page, Green was one of the most valuable rotational players for Oregon along the defensive line, and he's someone whom the staff tried to get to reconsider his decision to transfer.
Ultimately, though, it doesn't come as a surprise that Green landed with a strong SEC school, where he has a clearer path to starting and playing a major role. He is a dynamic pass-rusher with great size and a bright future in front of him.
Coming to Eugene, Green was rated as a 4-star recruit and the No. 211 player in the 2023 class. He will have two years of eligibility remaining after redshirting his freshman year at Oregon.
