The exodus of defensive linemen from the Oregon Ducks' 2025 roster via the transfer portal was well-documented, with talented blue-chippers departed from Eugene after the announcement that all four defensive line starters were set to return.

Defensive tackle Terrance Green was among them. The 6-foot-5, 330-pounder was a four-star prospect and the No. 30 defensive lineman in a loaded 2023 class, eventually landing with the Ducks. In three seasons, he totaled 22 tackles, three tackles for loss and a sack.

Green was buried behind NFL-caliber defensive tackles such as Jordon Riley, Brandon Dorlus, Derrick Harmon, Jamaree Caldwell and most recently A'Mauri Washington and Bear Alexander. He never quite carved out a role with the Ducks. But after transferring to the Alabama Crimson Tide this offseason, big expectations are bestowed upon the former four-star prospect.

The Athletic released their Preseason All-SEC teams, with Green occupying a spot on the second team — an extremely high vote of confidence of the former Duck's talent and potential considering his low amount of production at Oregon. But the stats don't tell the whole story, as he was a tremendous pile-mover and seemed to collapse the pocket at a high rate when he was in the game.

Relocating to Alabama gives Green an opportunity to start right away for the Crimson Tide, where he'll be able to play big-time SEC football aided by the experienced he gained with the Ducks.

Green will have two seasons of eligibility at Alabama, where he'll have a chance to prove himself as one of the top defensive tackles in the nation who just happened to be buried behind a number of star defensive tackles at Oregon.
