Good God no! Go from a small short QB to a slightly bigger one that can’t win in cold weather games? I’d stick with JB before that. Do you really think Tua can win a SB? Not to mention what a head case he is. Kind of shocked at this post tbh.

We have to draft the best QB available at #6 (or whatever).

Build a fortress offensive line.

Add a good FA RB, and a legit slot receiver. Someone twitchy and with some speed.

Hope for the best.
I think Rasheed formerly with the Saints and now the Seachickens will be a FA. Good speed target

I just don't know what everyone is thinking here. It's a bad draft class. It's a poor free agent class. It's a bad roster.

You are going to have to take a wild gamble on someone in a brand new situation. Not a multi retread but someone who failed at their first spot and needs a new outlook.

Someone who was drafted based on the talent and then just needs someone to help them realize it.

That list is really short, much like our QB who will be at the top of the list if a FA

I am certainly no cap expert, but according to spotrac Tua has a base salary of 39 Mio. and a cap hit of over 50 Mio. for 2026. So even if I am not totally against the idea, I honestly don't know if that would even be possible from a financial standpoint.

He would be a cut or they would eat a massive amount of salary, just like Murray.

The rumor says cut
It's not a rumor. Anyone who wants him won't have to give up a thing because Monti has zero leverage. The only situation I see where Monti can get leverage is carrying Murray into camp.

The teams that want Murray, and there will be teams that will want to try him out, only have to wait for him to be cut.

Understood, and I could be wrong, but to me it still seems like it might be our best shot at resolving the QBOTF problem Chris.
Yeah, but don't make a bad situation worse by throwing away a top 10 pick on a QB who isn't likely to be good. If anything take one later in the draft and hope beyond all hope you catch lightning in a bottle. Get the best player and most sure thing you can get at another position and at least maybe one position is a lot better

2027 will be a great QB draft. You don't want to be tied up with some stiff just because you drafted him at #6 or 7 the year before.

My feeling is Mendoza or bust this year. The rest? Let them be some other teams disappointment.

There’s a world where both Mendoza & Moore end up having better careers than Arch, Sellers, Raiola, & the rest of the 2027 class.

Thought about that but the cost to get him would hinder fixing other issues. Plus if people are worried about injury histories…..
Yeah that’s what I was telling my twin last night…you give up three ones for burrow then you can’t fix your o line or get a stud pass rusher..plus he is made of glass and would get smashed behind this line…how about Francis Magilla in the top 10 and John mateer in the second? What’s your thoughts on him?

Tom Brady went to Tampa because the roster was great.

You have to build the lines. Not draft 800 lbs and dbs. Win the line of scrimmage and then get a QB

The Cards do have leverage. Kyler’s under contract.
Mr. Murray you have permission to seek a deal with a team of your desire.
Kyler says no. Mr. Bidwill says you have just become the most expensive back up qb in the league. Take a seat at the end of the bench.
Kyler will work with the Cardinals. He doesn’t want to be here.
