Florida baseball will play an exhibition game against a familiar opponent this fall.
The Gators, who finished 41-21 and hosted a regional in Gainesville, will face Troy at the Blue Wahoos Stadium in Pensacola, Florida on Oct. 24.
Florida fell to the Trojans in in back-to-back games this past spring as Troy claimed the regional title. Troy, which ended the year with a 39-22 mark, went on to sweep Little Rock in the Super Regional and went 1-2 in the CWS.
In the final D1Baseball.com poll, the Trojans finished at No. 8, while UF was No. 16.
The matchup is one of three that will be played at the Wahoos Stadium, which will also feature a matchup between Florida State and Auburn on Oct. 10 and a game between Alabama and Georgia Tech on Oct. 17.
