Florida baseball's matchup against Miami will start later on Saturday, May 30.
The Gators advanced to the Gainesville Regional winners bracket after walking off Rider 8-7, while the Hurricanes defeated Troy 10-5.
However, since Miami's matchup against Troy did not conclude until 1:53 a.m. on Saturday morning, start times have been pushed back by two hours. Per NCAA rules, the next game of the Regional must begin at least 12 hours after the previous contest if it runs past 1 a.m. local time.
As a result, the losers game between Rider and Troy will start at 3 p.m. E.T., while Florida vs Miami is scheduled for 8 p.m.
The Gators and Hurricanes met earlier this season, which ended in UF winning a pair of games as the final contest of the series was rained out. In those two games, three different Gators homered in the series as UF won the first game 7-2 and then the second game 8-2 back in February.
