Can tackles generally play guard at least a decent level? It's a two starters thing anyway...whoever loses the RT position takes RG....
Unless he just really suxx...
It ain't like guards ain't getting $20mil already

Usually...guys can move in but not out..it's due to foot speed and arm length mostly...if a guy is already playing guard in college it's because he has shorter arms...but lots of tackles get drafted and moved inside...it's why tackles have higher draft value. Can tackles generally play guard at least a decent level?
I think @oaken1 explained it wellCan tackles generally play guard at least a decent level?
Some tackles are more agile than strong, so moving inside doesn’t always work. Humphries is a good example. However, they can often move inside. If you’re thinking that way try to pick guys who seem versatile. The other problem is tackles make a lot more money, so they don’t like that move. Can tackles generally play guard at least a decent level?
to get Mendoza I would trade our 2027 first in a heartbeat.Unlikely to do both unless we trade away next year's 1st as well. Since we are perpetually bad, I don't think I'd ever trade our 1st away straight up.
Peyton Manning?!?!? Mendoza isn't even as good of a prospect as Cam Ward was! He's a great college QB, and Indiana is a great story, so I get your enthusiasm. I would be content to roll the dice on him. But man, Manning was an all time prospect coming out.to get Mendoza I would trade our 2027 first in a heartbeat.
we aint far away...a couple linemen...another RB..and we are primed for a rookie QB...the defense didnt live up to their talent this year. But Nolen looks like the real deal...and Robinson is developing...right in line with the three year average....with the youth in our secondary...one decent ILB can make a huge difference for the D... but we need "The Guy"
and IMHO....Mendoza is Peyton Manning 2.0....He "is" The Guy
Nolen can’t stay on the field so far.to get Mendoza I would trade our 2027 first in a heartbeat.

Won’t be enough. Plus the cap would be hard to workout.to get Mendoza I would trade our 2027 first in a heartbeat.

I think he’s better at ball placement than Ward. Neither is as potentially as good as Manning. I could live with Mendoza but no chance the Cards could get himPeyton Manning?!?!?
