Rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson teased the New England Patriots' Super Bowl LX uniforms while posing for a picture with Devin McCourty. The legendary safety posted an image to his Instagram page of himself standing next to Henderson, who was wearing the white-on-white uniform.
The jerseys included the Super Bowl patch, along with a USA 250 patch commemorating the country's 250th anniversary.
After defeating the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game, the Patriots are slated to head to Santa Clara for a head-to-head showdown with the NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks. This will be the second time the two teams have faced off in the Super Bowl, with the Patriots earning a 28-24 victory over the Seahawks in the first go-round at Super Bowl XLIX in 2015.
Henderson and fellow running back Rhamondre Stevenson could play a major role in the Patriots' bid for a seventh Lombardi Trophy. The rushing attack has been a strength for the team later in the season, and they will need the legs of their top two backs to slow down an aggressive Seahawks defensive front.
