Once again, when their backs are against the wall, the offense opens up and they score two TDs.

and: the offense throws away downs. The Kyler throws one way / WR runs a diff route thing: early on you can blame that on one or another -- but given how much it happens, its a coaching thing now. Whatever system they have to adjust routes on the fly doesnt work consistently enough.

Right? On the positive 39 yard line, some momentum going, and you try a play that needs to develop, yet it is a pitch of about 7 yards, horribly blocked and horribly pitched, and turns into a run maybe? Dunno wth they thought was gonna happen there.

I just sat down and don't even know if I saw the next play. I just stared at the dude in front of me as he drunkenly poked at the Seahawks fan beside him.

Why do I torture myself?
I’ve been asking myself this question a LOT lately. Why do smart people, knowledgeable football fans, allow themselves to be held hostage by a terrible organization? It’s the greatest scam in the history of time. And we make the owners of these terrible organizations wealthier beyond all imagination. I can’t think of any other business where you can be recognized as being historically terrible and get to sit back, and laugh all the way to the bank.

I posted this at the game. I still think this was when we lost the game. A different OC handles that situation very differently, we put together at least a FG drive, and we are talking about a different ballgame. Players will mess up, but coaches are supposed to put them in position to overcome that. I coach basketball. If one of my best players makes a horrible play and is in their head, I don't ice them out the next few possessions, I get them some targeted screens and run a play to get them an easy shot, a layup, to get them back in the flow. Basketball and football are different in tempo, but players and mentality are a constant.

Fire him now, please.
100%. Coaching football if one of my receivers dropped a ball I made sure to go to him quickly on an easy bread and butter play. If he dropped that, I would go back again quickly.

Agree.
We don't have no rookies so there is zero excuse for those miscues...if it were strictly a player thing somebody would be getting benched until they learn... but The Petzing is not benching anybody.

Despite my frustrations with Kyler, it doesn't change that the offensive coaching staff needs an overall. Your infrastructure shouldn't fall apart when your OL coach/run game coordinator walks out the door.
It doesn't to OCs that know what they are doing.

Ok…so one team stayed true to their identity and the other changed theirs. I understand not wanting to bang your head against a brick wall all game but to let another team just impact your core offensive identity is kinda wild. Maybe some better self scouting could have prevented all of this.
Our identity the last 2 years was to run the ball. That hasn’t been the case so far this year. And JG & Petzing have said time and time again that they will do whatever it takes to win the game. Bringing in a new OL coach seems to have set our running game back a step. Hopefully, there are only slight nuances that are holding us back. But, even last year we struggled to run against Seattle.

When they fire this guy the haters will double down on K1.
K1 is just good enough to get coaches fired. So I wouldn't be surprised if your prediction of him being gone after this year cone true.

Coaches will realize they can't win with him weather it be talent or scheme, and nice on from him. I don't believe it will happen unless they want to go into next season with Jacoby and a rookie.

I guess we'll see

Let's continue to run a dink and dunk offense where absolute precision and execution are required, yet our personnel continues to look like they have never played together and constantly make mistakes. THE SYSTEM WORKS!

What's the definition of insanity?

Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results
