Throughout the course of the 2025-26 school year, FLORIDA TODAY held 34 PuroClean of Melbourne Girls Athlete of the Week votes.
More than 200 student-athletes were nominated with 34 winners.
A total of 13 Brevard schools had at least one Athlete of the Week winner.
We recently took the top winning vote getter from each of those 13 schools and put them up against each other in one final vote.
The vote consisted of these 13 athletes:
Izzy Gambill of Eau Gallie won the fan vote.
Gambill, a recent graduate of Eau Gallie High School, played 98 games as a varsity athlete. As a freshman, she played one JV game and 24 for the varsity squad.
She had a career-best four home runs as a senior, finishing her career with eight. She had a four-year tally of 64 RBI, 57 runs and a .291 batting average.
As a pitcher, Gambill was 14-4 with a 2.12 ERA. She was 5-1 her senior season with a 2.35 ERA.
Gambill will continue her softball career at Pasco Hernando State College.
