Throughout the course of the 2025-26 school year, FLORIDA TODAY held 34 PuroClean of Melbourne Boys Athlete of the Week votes.
More than 200 student-athletes were nominated with 34 winners.
A total of 15 Brevard schools had at least one Athlete of the Week winner.
We recently took the top winning vote getter from each of those 15 schools and put them up against each other in one final vote.
The vote consisted of these 15 athletes:
Aaron Gordon, a swimmer from Edgewood Jr./Sr. High.
Gordon, as a junior, won both the 100m and 200m freestyle events at the District 5-1A championships. He also was part of the winning 200m free relay and 400m free relay.
He previously had won both the 100m and 200m free at the Cape Coast Conference meet.
Gordon collectively has 35 first place finishes between his sophomore and junior seasons.
Gordon will be back for one more year before graduating in 2027.
