The 2026 NBA draft is on Tuesday night and the Philadelphia 76ers will hold the No. 22 pick in the first round. The Sixers acquired the pick from the Oklahoma City Thunder, via the Houston Rockets, in the Jared McCain trade at the deadline and will now look to bring in another young and talented player to the roster.

New President of Basketball Operations Mike Gansey will be looking to use the first tool he can get his hands on in order to improve this roster for the future. He ran the draft during his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers and excelled in finding diamonds in the rough for the Cavs. He will now look to do the same things in Philadelphia.

A mock draft from ESPN has the Sixers selecting Santa Clara forward Allen Graves at No. 22:

Graves should come off the board somewhere between Nos. 16 and 22, and where he lands might depend on how things unfold with potential trades. His excellent analytic profile, demonstrable feel and versatility at the 4 have made him appealing to teams in this range, including the Hornets, Raptors and Spurs. But his average athleticism and limited body of work against top competition have made him divisive for some evaluators.

Graves averaged 11.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.8 assists while shooting 51.2% from the floor and 41.3% from deep. He did that while coming off the bench for 31 of the 35 games he played for the Broncos and he will be looking to bring that type of production from the NBA.
