The Philadelphia 76ers have the No. 22 pick of the draft on June 23 thanks to the deal they made with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Sixers acquired the pick from the Thunder, via the Houston Rockets, in the Jared McCain deal and they now have the opportunity to add a young piece to what is already a talented roster.
There are plenty of options the Sixers can go at No. 22. They can go big, go with a shooter, or they can go after some more wing players in an effort to improve in that area. Either way, the Sixers will be in a position to add and bring in a player who can produce right away in this team's rotation.
A mock draft performed by ESPN has the Sixers selecting a popular name for them thus far in the draft process: Santa Clara forward Allen Graves:
Graves feels like a player who is the most ready to step in and produce right away with this selection. He is somebody who offers a ton of versatility at the position and will be somebody who can be a plug and play type of player from the get-go. He isn't the most athletically gifted player in the world, but he can do so many different things such as shoot the ball at a high clip and he makes impactful plays in other areas of the floor.

Graves measured well for a power forward and looked to be in solid shape, but he wasn't helped by the other elements of the combine, looking like one of the less athletic players in testing. His proponents around the NBA rave about his defensive instincts and feel, and his projection as a long-term NBA player is backed up strongly by analytic models. It remains to be seen where that will leave Graves with a week to make a final decision, with plenty of interest from teams in the first round, but also lucrative options in the transfer portal, with LSU considered to be the front-runner if he returns to college.
