The race for the Golden Boot is set to be one of the major attractions of the 11th edition of the FIFA Arab Cup 2025.
Qatar will host the tournament from December 1 to 18, featuring 16 participating nations.
Several renowned strikers will take part in this competition, including Algeria’s Islam Slimani and Morocco’s Abderrazak Hamdallah.
Below is the ranking of the top scorers in the FIFA Arab Cup since its inception in 1963
- 1963: Mongi Hadded (Tunisia) – 4 goals
- 1964: Ahmed Ben Soueid (Iraq) – 4 goals
- 1966: Ali Al-Biski (Libya) – 16 goals
- 1985: Anad Abid (Iraq) – 5 goals
- 1988: Ahmed Radhi (Iraq) – 4 goals
- 1992: Ayman Mansour (Egypt), Saeed Al-Owairan (Saudi Arabia), Waleed Al-Felaij (Kuwait) – 2 goals each
