The Usual Suspects and Schindler's List are both at the top of my list.

I'd have to say it's a toss up between Almost Famous and Pulp Fiction.

For best comedy? That's a funny money but I think Money Pit is pretty hilarious as well.

Best comedy IMO is Young Frankenstein.

That's a good pick - Gene Wilder is very funny in that movie. Come to think of it, Gene Wilder is funny in pretty much anything he's done.

I think that if you put Gene Wilder and Mel Brooks together TODAY - they could create something hilarious - the best Actor/Writer/Director Comedy Combo ever.

I don't know about my favorite of all time, but I really liked 12 Monkeys.

Terry Gilliam is my favorite director by far.

11 - if you get a chance or are able to somehow find the movie LOST IN LA MANCHA - I suggest you do it. It's a documentary, and a heartbreaking one at that, about Gilliam trying to make his "baby" THE MAN WHO KILLED DON QUIXOTE. It is a hilarious and truly sad film as you see everything that happened to the prroduction and him up close - unflinchingly - one of the best films I have seen this year. For Gilliam nuts, it's a must.

J. Depp was supposed to be in that movie as well and that's always a plus. I loved Brazil - that was a brilliant movie imo.

I read just recently that Gilliam is attempting to buy back the script from the insurers who took it after it all collapsed.
