yeah, the Digital Rebel does cost quite a bit more than most point & shoot digital cameras, but it's worth the additional expense if you're really into photography. The Digital Rebel is actually a bargain compared to Canon's higher-end digital SLR cameras. Around $1,400 for a Canon 20D or $3,300 for the new Canon EOS 5D.

Mine's the original Canon 300D Digital Rebel. May not have quite as many pixels as the newer Rebel XT, but still is more than enough for my needs.
