The Atlanta Falcons placed offensive tackle Storm Norton on the reserve/physically unable to perform list on Thursday afternoon. Norton's injury provides some context around the team's decision to trade for Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Wanya Morris, which was reported a few hours earlier.
Morris, 25, will replace Norton on the roster, giving the team another capable swing tackle to back up Jake Matthews and Jawaan Taylor this season. Atlanta acquired Morris for a 2027 sixth-rounder, while also landing a seventh-round pick from the Chiefs in 2027.
Since entering the league in 2018, Norton has appeared in 67 career games (22 starts). The 32-year-old signed with the Falcons in 2023, playing in 31 games and making four starts over the last three seasons. However, Norton did not play in 2025 due to an ankle injury.
Check out the Falcons' updated 90-man roster below. We've included offensive tackle Wanya Morris even though the team has yet to officially announce the trade.
